Mogo Zoo is situated 10 kilometres south of Batemans Bay and is home to over 200 animals of more than 41 rare and exotic species, including the only white lion pride in Australia. The Zoo also boasts an extensive range of primates from the smallest to the tallest.
At Mogo Zoo you will be intrigued by close encounters with an array of endangered and exotic animals from around the globe – a truly unique experience!
The keeper talks and feeding sessions are educational and provide an insight into the natural behaviours of the animals as they are hand-fed by keepers.
Mogo Zoo features beautiful picnic grounds set in luscious wildlife surrounds, barbeque facilities situated just metres from the exhibits, café and gift shop.
The Zoo has attained the earnest reputation of being one of the most successful private Zoos in Australia, winning the Regional Attraction Award in the South Coast Awards for Excellence in Tourism in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
